Marc and Beth Hadden were blessed with two sons, Will and Parker. The South Carolina couple desperately wanted another baby, but doctors told them they were unable to conceive another child.
The couple realized adoption was the best option, but they “left it in God’s hands” for the time being. Years went by without adopting a baby. “We said if it’s meant to be, it will be,” Beth said.
Not only is Marc and husband and father, but he also works as a fireman and part-time police officer for the City of Myrtle Beach. One evening, he and his crew arrived on scene for what they thought was going to be a rather normal emergency call. A woman was in labor, but there was no time to get her to the hospital.
Marc never saw it coming; he ended up delivering the woman’s baby.
Overflowing with happiness and excitement, Marc called Beth to tell her the amazing news. Delivering a baby gave him so much joy.
But then Marc learned the baby girl, named Grace, was immediately put up for adoption. He and Beth realized this was the strangest and most touching twist of fate imaginable.
