Al-Fatihah!
At an annual birthday thanksgiving gathering, Ningsih, the eldest daughter in a religious family, attempts to take control of the noisy atmosphere by loudly reciting “Al-Fatihah” to prompt the prayer ritual that had been overlooked. Her action creates an awkward atmosphere and frightens her nephew. As a result, the food she usually prepares is avoided by her family.
