Introducing impressive debutant Vidhushika Ramaraj as the eponymous character, Rihana is a moving drama based on the case of one of the millions of vulnerable workers from South Asia - Sri Lanka, as well as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh or the Philippines - who travel to Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries to work as domestic or construction workers. There, they often have few rights and may face the harsh realities of Sharia law.
