This is a competent adaptation of the children’s story about two scarecrows who fall in love and want to get married. They assemble a wish list of things for their big day, and with just pink flowers needed, “Harry” sets off to find some. His journey turns out to be quite an epic one, and meantime “Betty” finds herself attracting the unwanted attention of the spiv “Reginald”. Can “Harry” get back in time to save her from his machinations and tie the knot?
