A scientist passionate about extreme sports, Li Qiang, faces off against a ruthless predator at the top of the ocean's food chain in a life-and-death game. Beneath the ominous clouds, danger lurks just beneath the surface.
Groundhog day with sharks, although not very good This is clearly not a Chinese remake of The Shallows (2016) but they hint that it might be. It is more like Groundhog day (1993) but with extra steps, and a far less satisfying conclusion. The effects are cheap for such a big production, the directing weak and the performances lackluster. I cannot recommend this.
