Season 1 Review (currently on NF): Criminal thriller series in 8 episodes with a touch of dark comedy and drama about a man Jamie Dornan (of "60 Shades" trilogy) and Danielle Macdonald (as Probationary Constable Helen Chambers in one of the sweetests characters I've ever seen). I was excited when I saw it was from the same folks that made _Fleabag_. But this one didn't really deliver. The whole of episode 5 makes the same mistake as many films / shows that represent someone tripping on drugs -- the trip lasts too long. And the standoff in the final episode felt pretty contrived, with a deus ex machina that was truly unsatisfying.
